STRONG4LIFE program instills the essence of adventure, passion and joy in playing, trying new things and tackling life’s challenges with renewed vigor so that the members of our senior community can walk out into the everyday world knowing that they can do whatever they set out to do with new confidence.
STRONG4LIFE strives to counter the tendency of elders to engage in increasingly sedentary lifestyles; fights aging diseases - such as sarcopenia and osteoporosis, seeks to decrease the incidence of degenerative injuries due to slips, falls and balance related problems, and - overall - increases the ability for seniors to become - and to remain - physically independent.

What sets STRONG4LIFE Method apart from traditional training programs:
STRONG4LIFE is designed for a target audience of seniors (age 60+) but is equally adapted to clients of any age who have injuries or movement / range-of-motion limitations that threaten their daily functionality. (E.g. Early-Stage Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Knee/Hip/Shoulder surgery/replacement, Sarcopenia, etc.)
STRONG4LIFE Method focuses on four pillars of longevity;
balance, posture, strength and independence.
The programing draws from the fundamental roots of CrossFit and other Functional Movement exercise programs to emphasis the development of strength and mobility to support “everyday life” activities, thereby improving the quality of life and maintaining that quality of physical acuity to a much greater age. We’re not training seniors to compete in the CrossFit Games. We are training them to compete in the “game of life” for as long as possible.
STRONG4LIFE is not a scaled-down version of other Functional Fitness Programs - CrossFit. It is specifically designed for seniors and developed to address strength, posture, balance and mobility issues of the varieties that we as human beings are uniquely susceptible to as we age. Much as in CrossFit programming, the STRONG4LIFE method employs the fundamental concepts of functional movement, but applies them in new and adaptive ways, with a significantly different goal or ‘end-state’ for the athlete. Like CrossFit, the benefits of this programming approach are both measurable, and repeatable over time.
One fundamental difference of the STRONG4LIFE Method is that it is not scaled-down. Rather, it is programmed and coached at a base level which is intended to be scaled-up over time, as individual growth/success improves. S4L focuses on the unique need for senior fitness.
